Dinner and shopping with WeiQing after work.

Xing Wang Taiwan Cafe @ Citylink.
I love their red tea!

Ready to dig in.

Random shots with the pretty Marina Square dangling lights.
They never change do they?!
17 December 2010
DKSH's D&D at Ochard Hotel.
Thankfully Goh was nice enough to pick me up from my house, so I don't have to look stupid taking a bus or probably I would cab down to crowded Clementi in the cheongsam.
Will be super embarassing I tell you.

Our invitation card in the shape of sword which goes in line with our theme, Kingdom of the East.
As always, I am always impress with the creativity of the fantree club. Ha!

Behind the red light in the vibrant Orchard Road.

With Orchard Hotel's christmas tree!

There's a gingerbread house, not comparable to the one I saw in Hua Hin.
I wore the exact same dress and heels to the exact same place for the same exact event in year 2006 and year 2010!
The only thing different is D&D with 2 different company.
The 2006 theme in Auric was International, so 1 cheongsam fits the 2 theme!

Ok, here's the comparison picture of myself, 4 year apart.
Taken at the same mirror!
Ok, how the hell the the fats creep onto my body within the span of 4 years?! Tsk tsk
Hair was bad 4 years ago, even the cheongsam looked very loose-fitting!
Now, I had to suck in, though I thought I looked kinda curvier. Ha!
Trade off I suppose. Ha!

Sitting at table 20 with the CVS sales team.
They are one group of entertaining people I tell you!

The 8 course dinner.

To replace the shark's fin, they served this Double Boiled Cabbage with Whole Compoy and Mushroom.
I do understand that some are against eating shark's fin but really, can you at least give me a mock shark's fin, replace them with fish maw or whatever, I would very much prefer the starchy ones that allows me to add vinegar and pepper into it.
The food was not overly fantastic, it's Orchard Hotel, what do I expect?
I miss Shangri-la. Aw~

With the CVS Sales team.

Attendees of my table with my boss.
Yes, our table was not filled up meaning extra servings for us! Ha!

The committee behind the whole D&D event.
Kudos to them for every ounce of effort they put in.

Speech by the big bosses, Leonard, Jimmy Neo and this ang mo who's in charge of the technology side.

1st performance of the night was from the technology division, dancing to Super Junior's Sorry Sorry.
It was entertaining.

The key account sales team who dressed according to the theme with the bosses.

Sales people with bosses.

The guy beside me works in the warehouse, to be honest, I do not know his name. Haha..
Point to note, I absolutely hate it when guys put their hands around my waist.
Hello, even if we are friends, so what?
Shoulder is fine, waist is too intimate for my liking.
It make me feels that I'm being 吃豆腐.
Just pretty offended lah.

I conveniently switched over to another table for a while.
A picture with Christina who's part of the product team.

The sexy colleagues dancing to Wonder Girl's Nobody.
Yet another awesome performance.
Here's the best-dressed segment.
It was split into best dress for individuals and tables.

Individual segment.

Table segment.
For once, the table segment has got new winners because I think for the past many years, 来来去去 only that few tables from the few departments keep winning.

More pictures.

Another impressive work done by our in-house graphic designers!
It's like an ordinary Thai Baht right?
It's actually the picture of our CEO because he dress up as the Thai King!
This was actually used for one of the game segment.
The winner who is a 小妹妹 won herself a trip to Thailand for 2 (subjected to approval by immediate boss), incredibly lucky isn't it?

My luck was not that bad last night because I won the 6th prize!
Our top prize was an iPad.

Items from goodie bag.
It's all our 自家的 products.

Ok, this is what my 6th prize was.
A Samsung camera.
I want to sell this, any takers?!
I keep procrastinating to post it on forums to sell.
After D&D, I actually went to West Coast Park for kite flying with Sicong and colleague + wife.
Really, in my cheongsam and high heels walking on the grass patch.
I must be mad. Haha... What's new right?
22 December 2010

Finally met up with WeiShi for our annual gathering at Vivo's Thai Express.
It used to be meeting up at least 3 to 4 times a year to celebrate our birthdays together with XianLiang however as time goes by, we somehow reduce to one meet up per year and I have not seen XianLiang in years! It was either he was sick, had to work or yes, I did miss an outing last year which I organised. Haha....
Ok, I think we should do more than just 1 meet up per year!
