Ha, in less than 24 hours time, the votes for the General Election 2006 will be finalised.
All the candidates are finishing their last lap for the 9 days of continuous campaigning.
They probably had never worked so hard for the past 5 years of their life than these 9 days.
By tomorrow, I'm sure the candidates will be so happy to head home after the results for some good sleep and rest.
The only time i feel the election atmosphere is when i was at Kovan the other day to see the skin doctor and all the election news on TV , media and internet!
Since I live in the west and work in the west, these 9 days are just like any normal 9 days of a year.
No hanging of posters/banners of the candidates.
No parties logo hanging on lamp posts.
No lorries bringing the candidates making rounds with a loud speaker asking for people to vote for them.
No exciting rallies.
No MPs to come visit us.
No promises of this and that and everything.
The west side is B-O-R-I-N-G!
It's all walkover by PAP.
You know, those people who live in areas which need to vote tomorrow are lucky.
Why? Because the candidates who wants to win the constituency will promise them this and that.
Lift upgrading, building of more facilities, throwing in this and that to make the package so attractive hoping for people to vote for them.
Afterall, they are the ones who benefits out of it.
But what about us people in the west?
All we get are some leaflets on the information of the MPs in our area.
Where are our lift upgradings???
Can we have lifts that stops on every floor too?
(Haha, not that it affects me sooo much because i'm lucky to stay where the lift stops.)
Can build more things in our area too anot?
Can we have other things to look forward to in our area also???
If not we'll feel very outcast when others have all this, we don't have....
Boo-hoo.... then we'll 心理不平衡....
Jealousy..... uhuh....
Eh, opposition parties come here next election can anot?
So that we can feel the election atmosphere here next election can?
Sommore, i can vote for the next election! HA!
手心是肉, 手背也是肉
No matter who won which Constitue, we are all Singaporeans what....
Right???
Oh well, shall not touch on this part.
Too sensitive... Hahaha....
Aiyah, don't ask me why i blog about the GE 2006.
Don't get me wrong, i'm not a big fan of the politics and stuff.
Just that, I thought that this year's election is really interesting especially with more opposition parties trying to get into the parliment.
Somemore, wah lau, Singapore so boring, 'coz this GE spices up the lifes of Singaporeans mah, especially when it concerns them and their future right?
Ar, yes, i'm a boring person. Lolz

The sudden crave for clubbing.
Short getaway trip sounds oh so tempting enough.
